FIRST AID COURSES
If you have identified that you need first-aiders in your place of work they will need to achieve a certificate of competence in First Aid At Work (FAW) or Emergency First Aid At Work (EFAW). The FAW certificate is valid for 3 years and before the expiry date first aiders will need to undertake a First Aid At Work Re-qualification course to obtain another 3 year certificate.
HEALTH AND SAFTEY COURSES
Good health and safety practice makes good business sense. There is more at stake than just bad reputations, lost working days and high legal fees for businesses who are complicit in poor practices. Over 200 people are killed each year in workplace accidents with over a further one million injured. Furthermore, over two million people are affected by illnesses that are caused by, or worsened by their working practices or working conditions.
HEALTH AND SOCIAL CARE COURSES
Most of the training courses we provide have relevance in health and social care; from health and safety, first aid to food safety and medication administration. Cognet has extensive experience in working with national care providers providing a broad range of training which meets their induction and on-going training and regulatory requirements.
